Fieldwork & respondent recruitment

The right people
for your research.

Carefully screened respondents for consumer, healthcare and B2B fieldwork in the UK, US and selected international markets.

In-store, in-home, online or face to face — recruited for the method you have chosen.

One fieldwork partner, three levels of support

Our in-house recruitment team identifies and screens the right people for each brief, combining internal resources, custom recruitment methods and selected channels. How much more we take on is up to you.

Methods we recruit for

  • Depth interviews
  • Focus groups
  • Triads & duos
  • Online communities
  • Diaries & bulletin boards
  • Ethnography
  • In-home visits
  • Shopalongs
  • Product testing
  • Advisory boards
  • Online surveys
  1. Respondent recruitment

Screened respondents matched to your criteria, timelines and methodology. You run the sessions; we focus on getting the right people to them.

  2. Recruitment with additional support

Add screener development, project coordination, translations or transcripts — without committing to a fully managed service.

  3. Full-service fieldwork

Recruitment, moderation and full project management, with transcripts, translations and reporting where you need them.

Three sectors, each recruited on its own terms

Consumer fieldwork

From general population samples to niche and hard-to-reach groups: brand users and non-users, affluent and multicultural consumers, Gen Z and other generational audiences, category users and key influencers.

Healthcare fieldwork

GPs and specialists, nurses and pharmacists, patients and caregivers — including rare-disease audiences — as well as payers, commissioners and key opinion leaders. Recruitment where clinical and professional criteria need careful checking.

B2B fieldwork

C-suite and senior decision-makers, business owners, technical professionals, engineers and trades — across technology, finance, manufacturing, construction, education, media and more.

How a project runs

Screening is where the quality of a study is decided

Every project is different, so we take the time to understand the objectives before recruiting a single respondent.

  1. Understand the brief

Audience, methodology, markets and timings agreed with you up front, so the recruitment approach fits the study.

  2. Plan the route

Our in-house team chooses the mix of internal resources, custom methods and selected channels for this audience.

  3. Screen and verify

Respondents are screened against your criteria and validated, with checks designed to keep out unsuitable and fraudulent sign-ups.

  4. Manage quotas

Your dedicated project manager tracks quotas and keeps you updated as recruitment progresses.

  5. Deliver the fieldwork

Respondents confirmed for interviews, groups or tasks, plus moderation, transcripts or translations if you need them.
